Their wedding took place outside of Elk Grove CA, near Cortland, which is not too far from where I live.
The weather was already getting warm by 10 am! However, even though it was another hot summer day we had a nice breeze from the Sacramento River!
We started our day with Carina at her parent's house where she was getting her hair and make-up done. Her bridesmaids were always there for her from the start. They were there early in the morning helping her with everything that she needed! After everyone got ready they had a little bit of time to enjoy a couple of mimosas before heading out. Carina was perfectly calm but some of the bridesmaids were more nervous than Carina. Everyone was so excited for her!
Meanwhile, Jose Eduardo was getting ready at a separate location not too far from where Carina was getting ready. When we arrived at Jose's location, he got ready within 15 minutes and even had enough time to take a shot of tequila for breakfast!😎 The groomsmen arrived later to accompany him to the ceremony.
Their ceremony was very special because their closest family and some of their best friends were present. The heat didn't stop anyone from being there for them!
After the ceremony, we headed out to the reception where we were able to take a few photos of the newlyweds and their court! I have to say that it was a lot of fun capturing the couple with their court and to see how close everyone was to each other!
During the reception, there was a lot of fun events going on that made the night very enjoyable! We were able to capture lots of emotions, laughs and even some amazing dance moves when the Banda arrived! It was an amazing experience to be part of their wedding!!
