Last weekend, we had the opportunity to photograph our first wedding of the year, and what a way to kick things off! Gaby and Ricky’s wedding took place on Valentine’s Day, making their special day even more romantic and unforgettable.
We started the day at Ricky’s home, where he was getting ready with his groomsmen and family. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation as everyone prepared for the big day. We captured beautiful details of Ricky’s accessories, from his cufflinks to his shoes, as well as heartfelt moments of his father helping him with the final touches before heading out.
Next, we made our way to Gaby’s home, where she was getting ready for the ceremony. The hair and makeup process is always a great moment to document, and Gaby looked absolutely stunning. Her mother was there to assist her in putting on her dress, ensuring that every detail was perfect. The emotions were high as Gaby prepared to walk down the aisle.
The ceremony took place at the Cathedral of Sacramento. This historic church provided a breathtaking backdrop for Gaby and Ricky to exchange their vows. Their family and friends gathered to witness this beautiful union, and the atmosphere was enhanced by the soulful sounds of a live mariachi band, which played throughout the ceremony and after, adding a lively and joyful touch to the day.
Following the ceremony, we traveled to the reception venue, where Gaby and Ricky were able to celebrate the rest of the night with their loved ones. The energy was amazing, and the joy on their faces was evident as they danced, laughed, and enjoyed every moment of their wedding celebration.
As photographers, it was an incredible experience to capture the love, happiness, and emotions that filled the entire day. We are so grateful to have been part of Gaby and Ricky’s wedding and wish them a lifetime of happiness together!
