The Presidio is one of my favorite locations for wedding photography in San Francisco. With tall eucalyptus trees, forested trails, historic architecture, gardens, and views of the Bay and Golden Gate Bridge, the location offers so many different possibilities for wedding portraits.
For this beautiful wedding at the Golden Gate Club at the Presidio, the couple started their day getting ready at a nearby hotel before heading to the Presidio for their first look.
Their first look took place along a beautiful trail surrounded by trees with a view of the Bay and Golden Gate Bridge in the background. It was a quiet moment before the rest of the celebration began and a perfect introduction to the variety of scenery the Presidio offers.
From there, we continued throughout the Presidio grounds, photographing the couple among the eucalyptus trees, gardens, architecture, and open spaces. One of the things I enjoy most about photographing weddings here is that there are so many different environments within the same location. Couples can have their wedding portraits feel like a combination of a forest, a garden, and a classic San Francisco setting without spending the day driving between locations.
The ceremony and reception took place at the Golden Gate Club, where large open windows provided beautiful views of the Bay and Golden Gate Bridge. As the evening continued, the couple celebrated with their family and friends through dinner, dancing, and plenty of memorable moments.
I've had the opportunity to photograph weddings at different venues throughout the Presidio, and every wedding gives me another reason to appreciate this part of San Francisco.
If you're planning a Presidio wedding and looking for a San Francisco wedding photographer, I'd love to document your day and make the most of everything this incredible location has to offer.
