Absolutely loved being part of Maritza's quinceañera! It was so amazing!!
We started out the day on the road early in the morning to arrive to the city of Manteca CA, it was only about an hour drive from Elk Grove which is where I am located. We arrived to her home at about 8:00 am. As we walked in we noticed that there was some hair and make-up being done on other family members so we decided to start to take photos of her dress and accessories. As soon as we finished up with the details we noticed that Maritza sat down to finish up her hair and make-up.
Right after the hair and make-up she went upstairs to get change into her dress. Everyone else was patiently waiting downstairs to see Maritza in her dress! As she walked down the stairs, her mom helped her to lace up her dress and her dad came along to giver her his blessing.
The limo was outside ready to take them to the church, the ceremony took place at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Most of her closest family and friends were there for her to be part of a very special ceremony. Being surrounded by all the people that loves her was a very especial to experience!
After the ceremony we drove to a very nice location near by called River Islands. We had a few minutes to take photos of her court and friends. This session is always fun because we take a few photos of the quinceanera along with her chambelanes, damas, friends and anyone else that want to join in!
The reception was at the beautiful venue, The F.E.S.M in Manteca CA. As we arrived I noticed that there were a lot beautiful of decorations all over the venue. We were able to take photos of some of the arrangements and cake table before everyone else arrived.
After dinner it was time to begin the events of the night. Maritza and her sister opened up the night with an amazing folkloric dance! I was impressed by how much talent they both have! After changing back into her quince dress they continued with the rest of the program followed by a dace with her parents and a family members. They also did a great performance during the dance with her court. As we were moving towards the end of the night the dance floor opened up! This was where everyone got up of their seat and joined Maritza.
I cannot write enough of how amazing this day was but I do have many photographs that can tell you many more words! I hope you enjoy the photographs! Share it with family and friends!
