A beautiful quinceañera event in Sacramento CA. We arrived to Alondra's home early in the morning to photograph all the details of her dress and accessories while she was getting the first part of her hair and make-up done. After finishing up all the accessories we moved over to where she was getting the hair and make-up. We were able to take a few shots as they were finishing up. After the hair and make-up was completed, her parents came along to give her their blessing before stepping out side to the beginning of her special day!
The ceremony took place at the St. Joseph Parish in Elk Grove CA. Most of her closest family and friends were there for her to be part of a very special ceremony. After the ceremony, we had a few minutes to take photos of her family in front of the altar of the church.
We headed over to the Leland Stafford Mansion in Down Town Sacramento to get a few photos of Alondra and her court. This session is always fun because we take a few photos of the quinceanera along with her chambelanes, damas, friends.
After the photo session we drove back to Elk Grove to the reception at the SES Portuguese Hall. As we arrived I noticed that there were a lot beautiful of decorations all over the venue. We were able to take photos of some of the arrangements before everyone else arrived. Everyone had some time to sit down and enjoy A/C. The temperature at that time was in the 100 degrees! It was very nice to be inside during this hot summer day!
After dinner we were able to set some time to take a few photos with her guest. Right after the photos it was time to begin the vals followed by a dace with her parents and a few family members. They also did a great performance during their surprise dance! As we were moving towards the end of the night the dance floor opened up! This was where everyone got up of their seat and joined Alondra to dance with her all night to an unforgettable day! Even a huge dancing robot with lights joined the dance floor!
