Last month, we had the opportunity to photograph Franshesca and Luis’ long-awaited wedding day! A celebration that had been in the works for quite some time. It was a day full of emotion, excitement, and beautiful moments from beginning to end.
We started bright and early at the Hyatt Hotel in Downtown Sacramento, where both Franshesca and Luis were getting ready in separate rooms. Having everyone in the same building made it easy to go back and forth, capturing key moments of the preparation. Franshesca’s room was full of energy as she and her bridesmaids got their hair and makeup done, while Luis and his groomsmen were ready in no time and enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere.
Once everyone was ready, we made our way just around the corner to Sacramento Cathedral for the ceremony. The walkability of everything made the day flow so smoothly. Their ceremony was heartfelt and intimate, shared with close family and friends in a beautiful setting.
After the ceremony, we had time to take portraits of the newlyweds and their bridal party. These moments were some of our favorites, fun, genuine, and full of personality. Franshesca and Luis were beaming, and their group brought amazing energy to the photos.
The celebration continued nearby at the Masonic Temple, which made the perfect venue for their reception. With stunning details and a great layout, it fit their vision perfectly. The rest of the night was full of dancing, laughter, and celebration with everyone they love.
