Venecia’s quinceañera pre-event session brought us back to one of our most popular and favorite locations, White Swan Castle. This venue continues to be a top choice for quinceañera sessions, and it was especially meaningful for Venecia because she chose it after seeing previous sessions we’ve photographed there and being able to picture herself in the same space. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this location matched her vision perfectly.
The session took place on a warmer day, which is why we typically schedule pre-event sessions later in the day. Shooting toward the evening allows for cooler temperatures and softer, warmer light, making the experience more comfortable while also creating flattering lighting for portraits. This approach worked beautifully for Venecia’s session.
We began the session inside the castle, focusing on the grand stairway that White Swan Castle is known for. This area is ideal for showcasing a quinceañera dress, and Venecia’s dress stood out immediately. Her gown was custom made and imported specifically to reflect her personal style, and it fit the setting perfectly. The details, structure, and movement of the dress looked incredible as she posed along the stairs and near the large windows that bring in natural light.
After finishing indoors, we moved outside to explore the grounds. The gardens, water features, and walking bridge added variety to the session and allowed us to capture a mix of elegant and natural portraits. Venecia moved through each area with confidence and energy, making the session feel smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Her positive attitude truly made a difference, especially on a warm day, and it showed in every photo.
By the end of the session, we had created a strong collection of images that reflected Venecia’s personality, her vision, and the beauty of White Swan Castle. This pre-event session was a great way to prepare for her upcoming quinceañera and capture timeless portraits in a location that continues to deliver stunning results.
